This handbook explains the key and relevant legal and regulatory requirements that Sri Lankan women-led small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) must meet to export certain products
to Great Britain. This means that the legal and regulatory requirements explained herein are only applicable for products to be placed on the England, Wales and Scotland markets. This handbook does not apply to products to be placed on Northern Ireland markets.
The handbook addresses the regulatory requirements to export textiles and apparel, women’s accessories, footwear and home décor. More specifically, based on actual or potential exports, the handbook covers garments, apparel, footwear and handbags.
