This handbook explains the key and relevant legal and regulatory requirements that need
to be met for Sri Lankan women-led small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to export certain products to Great Britain. The legal and regulatory requirements explained herein only apply to products placed on the England, Wales and Scotland markets. This handbook does
not apply to products placed on the Northern Ireland markets.
The handbook addresses the regulatory requirements for exporting food items in the agricultural sector. More specifically, based on actual or potential exports, the handbook covers spices, herbal tea, herbal products, dehydrated fruits, processed fruits and vegetables, coconuts and coconut-related products.
